Women's New Moon Circle

Women have been gathering in Circle for thousands of years. Non-hierarchical and connective, women's circles served as a vital community space to gather around the fire, share stories, and support one another through life cycles. Many of these gatherings were closely tied to the phases of the moon, rhythms of the seasons, and our menstrual cycles.

In our Women’s New Moon Circle, you’re invited into a sacred space to honor the cyclical nature of yourself as it’s mirrored in the seasons, cycles, and stars. Each month, we’ll explore a different theme to cultivate a deeper relationship with ourselves, the natural world, and one another.

Join Lauren Bocka–registered yoga teacher, registered nurse, certified circle holder facilitator–as she guides you through ritual space to prepare for the cycle ahead.

✨ What’s included in a Circle?
-Introduction to the New Moon theme
-Guided meditation and visualization journey
-Reflection & guided journaling
-Slow-flow, embodied yoga
-Sharing opportunities within the safety of Circle

✨ What should I bring?
-Dress in comfortable clothes to move around in–we’ll be doing a short, gentle yoga flow.
-Bring a journal and something to write with.
-Yoga mats and props are provided!

Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to give yourself ample time to park and find the space - doors will be locked after the start time!

As a yoga teacher (RYT-200), registered nurse, and space holder, Lauren’s ever-winding path has guided her into many expressions of her curiosities as a lifelong learner. To her, yoga is a means to find connection both to oneself and others, a role that continues to fulfill her desire for spiritual exploration.
